Honest Mary’s is a second-generation finish-out in the heart of the vibrant Rosedale neighborhood in Austin. The soft curves of the plaster ceiling, veneered wood walls, and abundance of planters are accented with plenty of natural light. Soft terracotta accents and pops of rich blue color combine for a bright, warm and inviting space.
It was a challenge to create a new, fresh and recognizable street presence. This was accomplished with a façade and patio design that incorporated bright, white steel panels, a steel and wood trellis and trademark blue planters. For the interior, the addition of three well placed skylights improved upon natural light levels with the one in the dining area helping to mitigate the low ceiling height.
