The project site is in religious area which is called ‘Cheonwon complex’.
The Client wants to make this new hotel & convention center a landmark of the ‘Cheonwon complex’ and also a tourist attraction in a suburb of Seoul.
Our design goal is to provide well-customized experiences to satisfy visitors: believer, non-believer tourist and convention user.
Project title ‘Villa de Orchard’ means wonderful villa in the middle of fertile land.
This hotel share a continuous sequence with ‘Cheonwon complex’ by ‘Simjeong culture’ which is traditional religious dogma. ‘Villa de Orchard’ is unique themed hotel with unusual and exotic training facility.
Design concept is opposite to metropolis. People can feel the hidden tracks of time in old monastery, poetic space, soft experience, beautiful garden and pastoral scenery of vineyard.
Main facilities are separated in three area in masterplan. 5 Star hotel & convention center is next to the ‘Cheongpyeong Lake’ with great view, approachability and awareness. Its circular form so it has various and symbolic front façade.
3 Star hotel (Youth hostel) is located in deep valley which has forest like atmosphere. Its long rectangular form with courtyard create differentiated value from 5 Star hotel.
Two hotels are connected with promenade next to forest and orchard.
There is a village with special hotel rooms, restaurants and meeting rooms etc. The end user can experience unique orchard facility.
