High Light is an interactive installation in collaboration with Drop House Design utilizing the power of simple forms in repetition. This project repurposes the familiar material of steel pipe to create tripod sculptures that shoot up toward the sky. They are arranged to create a field condition that is both engaging to the onlooker and enticing to those who seek to create a path through them. Their height makes the sculptures act as placemaking devices while visitors wander the grounds- calling out the park as a new highlight of Austin’s built environment.
