Two new cultural buildings are the focal point of the main city centre square. The museum, clad with a light-weight light-filtering screen hiding a series of exhibition spaces of varying heights, is a lantern projecting beautiful shapes onto the reflecting pond at night.
The theatreis a sculpted mass lifted above the ground to create a passage between street and square.
Between its dramatic leaning façade and the volume of the auditorium inside, a series of
stairs link the open platforms of the vertical slanted space of the foyer and VIP rooms, where large openings afford views onto and from the square.
