This Company is the largest in its sector in Greece. The building was created to meet their needs. The office building has three floors. The client asks for a building that will help them to improve their working environment but also wanted to give a different prospective in approaching the market than the one they have now. The building has 3 floors, first (basement), second (ground) and the third (one floor up).
We have designed the building in different zones. In the first zone that is on the right and near the factory we have placed all the working positions such as logistics, export management secretaries etc. In the middle of the building is the welcome area that connects all the areas and also all the elevated levels. In the second zone that is to the left are the rest working positions such as the necessary doctor’s office, quality control, kitchen etc.
First floor that is actually a basement and will be formed to a large seminar room and meeting rooms for all company’s personnel. This floor is still under construction and paused for the time being due to the economical status of Greece.
In the ground level floor the main idea of the different sectors was to separate the commercial offices to the control functioning offices and for that we used a round very elegant very big internal atrium like. This central point separates every floor in the building in sectors, different modules and giving a unique geometry to the design of the whole compound. Is also an elegant welcoming entrance with the reception and the waiting area. Into that ground floor there are two major areas. To the right sector that is linked to the production area and to the up/down loading of the goods. Into that sector we have the commercial department, marketing department.
At the top floor to the right floor we have the management offices with a big meeting room, assistant’s room and waiting room. At the middle area of the zones we have the open balcony –atrium- from where we can see also the first floor. To the left side there are private management accommodation rooms necessary completely considering the long hours of operations during the pick season of the exports.
Generally we have tried to create into the building a powerful architectural line but also not so strong to be repellent to the people. Finally we believe that we have done all our best and we have covered all the expectations and needs of the client and we do hope that our “building” can proudly stand into the rough financial world.
