The Hayyat Fitness Complex was defined as a reconstruction project with minimum budget. The existing building was a building with load-bearing walls and residential use, which created micro-scale spaces. These dimensions of small spaces were in conflict with the use of sports and public spaces, which required uniform and coarse-grained spaces. In this way, the basic changes in the maximum compatibility with the structural wall system for the proper distribution of the physical program were the most important requirements of the design. Attention to greenery and the role of green spaces in strengthening the sense of place is not limited to the existing north and south courtyards of the project and has penetrated inside the project as well. The middle open space of the project in combination with brick frames has provided a special character for the personality of the interior spaces. Using the approach of reducing joinery to make maximum use of the texture of the existing brick walls and turning it into an effective spatial identity was one of the other main ideas of the conservative approach in renovating this space.
