Casa Haven redefines harmonious living by blending minimalist design with a deep connection to its surroundings. The interior spaces integrate seamlessly with the landscape, utilizing cross-ventilation for comfort and environmental responsiveness. A unique element of the design is the wood used throughout the interiors. Before construction, a decaying tree on the property was removed, and its timber was repurposed to create the wooden finishes that echo the land’s history, preserving the tree’s presence within the home.
The site posed its own challenges, it is compact and adjacent to a busy road. The design cleverly shields the interior from the external setting, with a curated garden positioned at the rear and atop the house.
Casa Haven is a masterful balance of design, nature, and making the most out of the space.
