The cautious choice of color and materials in the design of the new building is supporting the perception of all the small buildings on the very steep lot as an ensemble. Together they form an intimate court like space. The steep hill was left as found. Therefore the roof terrace is gaining importance as horizontal outdoor space. Inside the sleeping rooms and the bathrooms are minimized in favor of the living room so the small house can achieve some generosity.
