The single-family home Bachmann is located at the village Unterwindisch's edge, bordering the green space from the rivers Aare and Reuss.
The shape of the building is a reaction to the geometry of the borders and the edge of the slope that runs diagonally across the plot with the house located immediately on the edge. The exposed concrete Skin combines the complex geometry of the building into a single entity. The large sliding windows of the living/dining area create a unit with the garden and the terrace located in front. Interior and exterior spaces are smoothly merged. The private rooms are arranged on the top floor. Each room has an open Connection to a private bathroom.
