The new Harry Winston flagship store in Shanghai became a laboratory for creating a new experience in shopping for precious jewelry. The traditional design emphasis in jewelry stores has been on the jewels themselves, at the expense of the customers.
CBBLD’s innovative lighting system allows salespeople to subtly control the levels of light on both the jewels and the customer simultaneously. The customer is bathed in warm light, while the jewels are made to sparkle under carefully focused, cool light. In this setting, the store’s customers are made to feel as beautiful as the ornaments they have come to purchase.
