Therefore food, opera, design, fashion, cars/motorbikes styling, cinema and sports has its own dedicated floor, with theme on flooring, finishes, ceilings, furniture giving the whole environment a strong personality.
Every meeting room has his own style, furniture, wallpaper, flooring, according the floor-by-floor style. On every level among other support areas, equipped with Audio Video systems for video conference, there's a stylish kitchenette with gaming/recreation facilities.
Roaming around the workplace Googlers will find themselves in a italian stylish environment of a global company.
Every material, finishes or furniture installed has been selected with sustainable criteria, choosing rapidly renewable materials, pre- or post-consumer recycled materials, low or non -emitting materials (VOC near zero) helping the premise to obtain the LEED Gold certification for Commercial Interiors.
All the installed lights are LED, and individually controlled by Googlers. Due to the massive use of open space and video conferencing system in the meeting rooms, high attention has been dedicated to the use of sound absorbing materials like ceiling mounted panels, hanging fabrics and decorative soundproof elements.
Among other facilities the new headquarter have a high-end italian 'Trattoria', a fully equipment gym, a multi purpose auditorium and a small cinema for internal use and corporate presentation.
In the basement a dedicated parking area is reserved for electrical cars, bikes and scooters with loading facility.
An enclosed secure bicycle racks area is as well available for Googlers, to promote and encourage the use of alternative mobility systems.
