Located in the grounds of the existing children's park, this cultural center, with a small amusement park, is a public cultural facility with a library, a local children's center and a multipurpose hall.
We interpreted the conceptual character of this complex as a place of cultural friendship among the villagers. In the program of the public library, which is the main program of this cultural center, we moved away from the past conservative spatial form which was composed of static, By introducing a spatial program that is dynamic, open, free and voluntary, it is possible to spontaneously create free learning opportunities such as "casual learning", "unintentional learning" and "open learning outside the formal" I set up a design strategy that maximizes opportunities for lifelong learning that should be a role.
For this purpose, the stairway width of three layers, which is the inevitable vertical movement movement line, is greatly enlarged, and it is planned as a reading stair which serves as a stairway as traffic transportation line, and the inside of the staircase and the stand are made into bookshelf, The vertical and the vertical simultaneously constantly make contact with various information visually and spontaneously so as to maximize the opportunity of chance and voluntary information acquisition. And it was hoped that it would become a hill for a multifunctional resident fellowship that would become a place for children's learning play.
The exterior plan of this complex cultural center was set up as a nude elevator moving on the basis of a pure mass form expressed in the skin of the interior as an inner spatial program, and an interest-inducing concept in which each action space in the interior is seen through, It was a formative effort to realize the concept of the basic plan of this project, which should encourage the curiosity of the outside people and thus maximize the use of lifelong education opportunities by increasing the population utilization rate of the cultural center.
I hope that this hill of wisdom will become a cultural symbolic place of this area as a hill of community fellowship accumulating traces of numerous activities of residents.
