This family home was designed under a tight budget with a high desire for energy efficient living. The design was inspired by the rural vernacular and simple forms required for energy efficiency. Situated along the east / west axis the building takes full advantage of solar gain. Storm water and waste water are managed on site. Due to its reasonably remote location no fill left the site during construction.
