Clancy Engineering participated in the development of Project Stage for the multifunctional GEOLOG business center (23 Obrucheva Street) by Hutton Development. The project has already been approved by the Moskomarkhitektura: a 13-storey office building with underground parking, open public terraces and all the necessary infrastructure will appear.
The complex’s architecture is based on the principle of "tectonic shifts": the displacement of parts of the building relative to each other. The idea of the architectural concept of the business center was the work and scientific discoveries of the scientist-geologist, traveler and researcher Vladimir Afanasyevich Obruchev. The main focus of the project in architecture was on the "natural element" in the architectural form. The building seems to be "divided" into 2 parts of different volumes, resembling the shift of tectonic plates. By identifying the compositional angle, the ground part of the object is accentuated.
