G202 Housing in Thermi
The housing complex is located at the expansion of Thermi area in Thessaloniki. It consists of three two-storey buildings each one housing seven residencies. All parking spaces are laid underground, providing a large green plot for recreational purposes on the ground level. Carefully designed, the roof gardens create a comfortable place for relaxation that is isolated from the street level. The buildings, underlining the typology and principals of modern architecture with simple lines and volumes, render a design that dominates the area's architecture. The use of materials such as wood and glass also play an important role, since they give a certain harmony and visual continuity to the structure.
