The project involves the construction of a bicycle path in its own seat, bidirectional affecting the provincial road that crosses the city center and adjacent to an existing pedestrian path on which intervention is limited to the edge contiguous to the bike path, which will also be able to be used by people with reduced or impeded motor and sensory capacity. There are elements of street furniture along the pedestrian route, also delimiting the bicycle route; these elements are positioned in such a way that they do not cause an obstacle to the transit of pedestrians and bicycles while remaining usable and accessible to every person.
The seats provided along the sidewalk, close to the bicycle lane, face the pedestrian space with a backrest that prevents users from being able to sit on the bicycle side and becoming an obstacle to transit; they are marked and kept away from the bicycle flow by marking the roadway with a special continuous white line, to avoid fortuitous collisions between users of the different paths; they are not provided in the narrowest section of the bicycle path in order to avoid the creation of obstructive or dangerous situations.
