During the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, St. Bernard Parish embarked upon the monumental task of reconstruction. Chase Marshall and Stuart Consulting Group were awarded the comprehensive renovation and reconstruction of all ten pre-Katrina fire stations in the parish. Fire Station NO.7 was the one of the post-Katrina fire station to be completed in the region. Each station separately and as a series of buildings with the community is viewed as primary objects, seen as symbols of protection and ongoing recovery.
