What should an architect do in Sao Paulo state? The tradicional local architecture is outstanding. So the natural approach should be trying to get inspired by all "Paulista" masters as Paulo Mendes da Rocha and Vilanova Artigas. Thus the concept was developed since early stages with concrete as main material and character.
The logic of the structure is a grid of beams and walls made in concrete, that has given shape to this small house. The natural terrain played an important role in this play. The house is embedded on the ground smoothly. The consequences of this gesture are the disconnected levels of the house.
The two intern courtyards are very dominant in the living room that is the core of the project. It connects visually and spatially all the three principal blocks of the dwelling. The master bedroom has its own terrace towards south. It allows the users to enjoy the beautiful view of surroundings. The living and dining room are totally connected to the veranda and swimming-pool on the backyard.
The concept and project were totally developed with BIM technology.
