Project description:
Planning and design of a residence for a young couple’s first home.
The client's wish was for us to apply for an extension of their existing ground floor (+40sqm), as well as the construction of an extra floor (+60sqm).
The entrance is divided into a public and a private space. The public area consists of a kitchen with a kitchen island, dining area, sitting area and a study room. On the back end, we designed a private zone that includes a sleeping area for the kids, a joint TV room and a playroom.
At the heart of the house we placed a staircase leading to the top floor.
The top floor is separated into two wings: master bedroom on one side and a guestroom with access to the balcony on the other. The balcony consists of an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue station and a large dining table for hosting.
