Ficci Materials Art Showroomis a hybrid material showroom integrating whole-house wood customization, lighting, smart systems, and metal fabrication into a unified spatial framework. Rather than operating as a conventional product display, the project redefines the showroom as a decision-making environment shaped by consumer psychology.
The spatial concept follows a clear behavioral and emotional sequence: interest formation, rational evaluation, and purchase confirmation. These stages are translated into three consecutive spatial experiences, moving from intuition to analysis and finally toward a synthesis of emotion and reason. Curvilinear forms are employed to evoke sensory engagement, while linear geometries establish order and clarity, allowing atmosphere to guide perception.
The entrance space corresponds to the stage of interest formation. A circular layout combined with a museum-like display strategy presents over one hundred wood samples, systematically organized by tone and finish, enabling visitors to immediately grasp the completeness of the system. Lighting, smart controls, and metal elements are embedded directly into the architectural structure, allowing multi-system coordination to be intuitively perceived. Curved spatial boundaries and a central lighting installation create a strong first impression and establish initial trust on an emotional level.
The centrally positioned corridor serves as a zone for rational evaluation. Defined by linear geometry, stable proportions, and natural daylight introduced through overhead glazing, the space encourages calm observation and focused judgment. Tea rooms aligned along the corridor correspond to different systems, providing settings for detailed technical discussion and confirmation.
The showroom concludes with a non-commercial living room environment. Kitchen systems, wall panels, and living functions are presented at full residential scale, with all four material systems operating together. Construction details and junctions are openly revealed, allowing emotional comfort and rational confidence to converge, and enabling consumers to confirm feasibility without relying on imagination.
