Fhitting Room founder Kari Saitowitz hired DHD to design her flagship location on New York City’s Upper East Side. The boutique fitness studio occupies a bright, street-level corner space on Lexington Ave and 80th Street. Nestled among other commercial businesses, it caters to the neighborhood residents, drawing them in via the full-width glass facade.
Branding elements abound, with Fhitting Room’s signature lime green and grey appearing on everything from the signage and custom graphics in the entry to the coat and equipment hooks. The energetic and cheerful design fits a lot of program into a small but functional space. The Fhitting Room is a High Intensity Training (HIT) boutique fitness studio offering small classes taught by renowned instructors. Workouts are intense and challenging yet exciting and fun.
