Farmatodo is an established chain of pharmacies undergoing a renewal in its services and its image. The task was to design a building to prove precisely this transformation to the outside and at the same time contained in the new format the space needed to transform and enrich the shopping experience for their customers.Built on a site location and in an area with highly commercial potential in the city of Puebla, this project is becoming a benchmark for the area. The particular geometry of the property defined by the intersection of two avenues helps to shape the building, taking advantage of the conditions for an interesting project for its architecture to the outside. The project takes advantage of having the construction one level above the street. It searched to redefine the image of the conventional pharmacy resulted in a framework that is present to the two facades, creating a very dynamic envelope element. Both transparency and the use of color on the walls were essential for strengthening the brand image to the outside and catch the attention of passersby and customers. The site adjoins a shopping mall and connected to it by a perimeter corridor ending in a rest area for customers and pedestrians in the area. Thus the project succeeds in generating a small piece of public space in the city.
