In looking to expand it’s presence in the Boston market Exhale Enterprise chose the Battery Wharf Fairmont Hotel as it new flagship location. Capitalizing on the opportunity of a new location Exhale wanted to push it’s brand identity to a higher level of design. Blending world elements with modern comfort, has become a hallmark of the Exhale experience. S3 Design took this lead and blended it with unique New England context. Drawing on the rejuvenation process that is key to Exhale’s success, S3 looked at that the winter to spring transition that New Englanders long for. A palette of rich browns and whites were developed that where then infused with the bold reds of spring. S3 then built on the elements of modern comfort, by adding a level of luxe to the palette with elegant light fixtures, rich woods and glass panels infused with flowers.
Building on Exhales brand of engaging elements of world cultures, the rooms where then accessories with found items reminiscent of Moroccan tuffets, rustic benches, Prayer bells and Indonesian vases. The eclectic style layers many of the design elements know to Exhale patrons with a new modern comfort, that exudes the luxe precedent set by the adjoining hotel.
