The implementation of the building is highlighted by two distinct structures which are perpendicular to each other.
The higher structure is for housing and has two storeys, whilst the lower structure is exclusively used for the indoor pool and garage. Both structures are united by a wall covered in wooden panels indicating the path from the entrance until the far end of the land.
A north-facing canopy completes the side and provides a central “U” shaped patio, with a sheltered area in the extension of the living room. Closed off to the north, the house opens to the south in a privileged relationship with the patio and garden.
On the ground floor there is a guest room, living room, dining room and kitchen. The “L”- shaped living room differentiates some spaces and their improved relationship with the sun´s orientation. The indoor swimming pool opens over the patio to the east, and over a lawn facing the west. It also enjoys great transparency, allowing the pool area to be opened wide and almost transformed into an outdoor pool.
On the upper floor there are three bedroom suites, an office and a library, distributed along a hallway featuring rectangular skylights which leads to the living room.
The house is essentially facing to the south around the outside patio and also to the east to benefit from the landscape of the Aveiro river branch.
