The site is a combination of 5 vacant buildings/lots and located in the middle of the block. As part of the Clinton Comprehensive Community Plan, the Owner was encouraged to develop affordable elderly housing while preserving the character of the community. The site was also rezoned for housing and required approval from the City Planning Commission of NYC.
Three vacant buildings were demolished and combined with two adjoining empty lots to form a 125’ x 100’ site. The plan provides 83 one-bedroom units and 1 two-bedroom unit for a total of 84 dwelling units. The exterior material consists of finishes that match thesurrounding building vernacular.
