The Edifício Cidade Jardim seeks a different scale in the city with its 10-story height and with large front facing Cidade Jardim Avenue.
The predominantly horizontal shape is characterized by plates on “L” that frame the large glass box formed by floor type and are the balconies of the rooms as well as a cover of the common areas on the roof, giving strong identity to the architecture. Using the same DNA, the building’s ground floor lobby is defined by a large rectangular box with more than 8 meters high and internal faces covered with an intensely colored stone, giving the building personality.
The floor type plan is developed in “L” without pillars. The vertical circulation core located on the building’s rear facade provides spacious area with natural light and layout flexibility, featuring a more efficient space.
The project is located in a very important avenue of Sao Paulo, Cidade Jardim, in a privileged corner site. The eleven stories building fits perfectly in the scale of the neighborhood, assuring a smooth transition among the different usages found at this avenue. The double height hall ensure a majestic and imponent experience for its users, being very generous with the pedestrians, with wide walkways and great permeability. In some floors we find garden terraces, bringing the vegetation inside the building. The roof is a garden with cafe.
The building aims for a LEED triple A certification, granting several sustainable solutions spreaded into each 1,500m² of its type plans.
