Climatic design strategies:
1- Positioning most of the glass towards north and south, partially covered by vertical fins, wooden shades (could be bamboo) and mat shades can shadow the windows completely during the summer days.
2- Infiltration of hot and moist outdoor air creates a natural ventilation system.
3- Using ceiling fans makes the temperature drop at least 5 degrees F cooler during hot days with the windows closed.
4- Using bamboo overhangs with matt anti UV paint covering helps reduce UV and the heat of the sun before it comes into contact with the building.
5- Positioning the overhangs and green balconies so as to use maximum fresh air circulation makes a natural ventilation system.
6- Using the void in the public spaces to design an air shaft plays an important role in creating a natural ventilation system.
7- Placing plants in terraces and flower boxes shades the structure and provides visual elegance.
8- Placing most of the plants in exterior spaces and using moisture filters in the natural ventilation system helps reduce the internal moisture.
