This interdisciplinary installation and performance was developed during an artist residency at Westben Performance Art Theatre in Campbellford, Ontario, in the summer of 2018. The artistic approach was to introduce an additional layer of sonic architecture and geometric setting that would interact with the concert venue's existing architectural layout, drawing inspiration from 19th-century belfries and bellringers’ manuscripts. A key element of the concept was blending low-tech and high-tech performance techniques, which took shape by combining rustic bells, ropes, and acoustic instruments with live electronics and algorithmic music, resulting in a sound-space installation developed during the residency.
