An architect had a goal of constructing the house in the space rigidly limited by walls of adjoining constructions of the central part of a city. "Scope" of wings of the author has been also constrained by the modest budget. Strict frame of primary conditions were in all respects compensated by a policy of "non-interference" from owners.
As a result the exterior of the house represents unconverted concrete "skeleton". The open material wins from a combination of plentiful green surroundings and huge stained-glass windows designed and built by author's technology. Rough textured and stylish columns support the glass and at the same time look like postmodernist sculptures.
The inner walls were brick laid by rural masters leaving the texture of uneven laying open. The rough board floor echoes the mood. As a result we get that charming gaucherie that is not only pleasant for one’s eye, but also introduces something from a life when a man was still close to nature.
Console ladder organically implanted in given space is highly demanded aesthetically and it is difficult to tell what is essential functionality or decor.
The second floor is occupied with a bedroom where it is possible to sleep under the star sky thanks to a light lantern.
As a result, from ashes and decay, instead of an old hovel there has been a construction designed with strict lines, elements of brutality and absence of superfluous details.
