Dumankaya IKON,
which is to be the one of the tallest residence projects in Istanbul
with its height of 149 meters, consists of the combination of three
towers in the heart of the Anatolian Side of the city, in Göztepe.
Business lounge, laundry, technical maintenance, 24-hour professional
reception, postal service, security are the services that will be
offered within the scope of residence services in Dumankaya
IKON. The project stands out with its
rich sports facilities including fitness centre, football and
basketball courts, and open and closed kiddy pools.
In order to carry
these inspirations into our designs firstly we benefit from the
horizontal section of the main building
that is existing of 3 elliptical blocks linking to each other with
equal angles. We carried out this geometry to the design of the
working units of the staff and also to the bistro tables where the
guests are hosted and introduced with the project.
Also in the general
ambiance of this sales office, our aim has
been transmitting the technological / modern message that is given by
the dwelling project itself into the interior of the sales office
where the probable future residents meet with the project. The idea
has been welcoming them into the full concept even before they meet
with the project in real. After this point our material and form
selections were fully concentrated around this idea to finalize our
project.
In parallel
with the iconic aspect of the project, the interior design of the
sales office is designed in a way that refers to the general form of
the architecture of the project. Elevation of the project which
connects the three 48-storey elliptical blocks at equal angles is
used both in the working units in the sales office and in the bistro
store where the customers are hosted and the project is introduced.
The element that
spices up the office, which is dominated by
the gray floor and white walls, is the colored columns. Beside the
lighting components are installed to imitate the migrating flocks of
bird.
The cues of modern,
contemporary and technological life in IKON
Project are emphasized by the use of
new materials and new approaches of from in the sales office.
