Most if the definition of robots depends on how some parties would perceive it. There are views on robot though the aspect of reprogramming intensity while others are more concerned on the manipulation of the robot’s internal capacity. Based on the definition of the robot by institutes, it can be decided that a robot must be an automatic machine which is capable of operating independently without the aid of a human and be able to change a little and get better with the ever changing information received from the health of the earth or the surrounding conditions. In this project, robot is controlled by a mobile that make to the mobile connected to the robot. In course of call, if any button in mobile keypad pressed a tone corresponding to button pressed is heard at the other end of call. It called DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) tone. The robot identify this DTMF tone with the help of DTMF decoder IC MT8870. The decoder decodes the DTMF tone into its proportionate binary digit and this binary number is send to the microcontroller. Microcontroller is pre-programmed to take a determination for any given input and outputs. The decision of the microcontroller will send a command to the motor driver in order to drive the motor for speed control, move forward, backward, right, and left and stop condition. The mobile will act as a remote control. DTMF signaling is used for telephone signaling over the line in the voice frequency band to the call switching centre. The translation of DTMF used for telephone dialing is known as touch tone.
