The Deloitte University EMEA stands out as a large-scale project, harmoniously integrated in the exceptional setting of the Paris Val d'Europe Golf course. This innovative campus is inspired by the great French estates, in which architecture and landscape maintain a continuous dialogue, thus offering a seamless landscape integration.
The bioclimatic mass plan constitutes the backbone of the project and adopts a fan-shape open to the West. This thoughtful design accounts for the pre-existing elements of the site, notably the sun's trajectory and winds' flow. The symbiosis between the buildings and the surrounding natural setting emanates from a holistic approach, thus promoting an active interaction between built space and landscape.
The conceptual architecture of the campus is distinguished by a subtle fragmentation and a formal language based on a set of roofs interplays. This architectural design fits its environment in perfect coherence and creates a distinct and functional aesthetics. The use of Terracotta tile roofs and wooden facades reinforces the anchoring of the building in its context, promoting both visual and tactile integration with the surrounding landscape.
The search for simple materiality is a common thread of the project: isolating building blocks like Terracotta tile roofs bestows the campus an authentic and durable identity. The wooden facades, vastly open to the landscape, enhance the connection with nature, and strengthen the ecological dimension of the project.
