The 82 year old former home to the Cunard Line at 25 Broadway provided the New York City-based architecture/interior design firm SubenDougherty with a challenge: making 123,000 square feet of irregularly shaped floor space accommodate over 130,000 square feet of cutting edge high tech office space for Deloitte Consulting. The starting point to make the project viable was the creation of a new mezzanine on the main entry floor (3rd floor) that also serves to spatially define a living room for the Deloitte family along Broadway.
