Founded in Parma, Italy in 1983, Davines started as a research laboratory, producing high-end hair care products for renowned cosmetic companies worldwide. Today, the sustainability-focused B-Corp operates a number of state-of-the-art hair academies where education, architecture, art, design, and culture meet in the most creative cities around the world. MA had the privilege of designing their newest academy, located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, which also serves as the brand's North American HQ. Located within the same historic cooperage complex that has become the Wythe Hotel, the modern, multifunctional space celebrates the legacy of the building’s former uses, as well as a new and vibrant connection to nature.
