Where the forest, mountains, and sea converge into a quieter way of living.
Set on a 7-hectare mountainside beachfront property in El Nido, Palawan, Danat Resort was envisioned as a destination that works with the landscape rather than against it. The master plan follows the site's natural contours, preserving its forested terrain while carefully framing views of the coastline, sunset horizon, and surrounding canopy.
The development features 59 villas distributed across three phases, supported by a hilltop restaurant, wellness facilities, boardwalks, and shared gathering spaces. Positioned at one of the highest points of the property, the restaurant serves as a destination in itself, offering panoramic sunset views and a direct connection to the changing landscape throughout the year.
Designed around the principles of privacy, wellness, and environmental responsiveness, each two-story villa provides both an intimate connection to nature and elevated views above the treeline. Natural light, passive ventilation, and thoughtful site orientation were integrated throughout the resort to create an experience centered on restoration, slow living, and a deeper appreciation of place.
