Cuong’s House is a compact two-storey dwelling designed for a young homeowner who aspired to build a permanent, cozy residence for his growing family in his hometown of Quy Nhon, Vietnam.
With a tight budget and a modest 54-square-meter site, the design embraces a minimalist philosophy that prioritizes core human needs: protection, privacy, and comfort.
Functional zones are arranged through a clear, efficient layout that ensures connectivity between spaces while preserving moments of solitude. A central skylight and expansive glazing draw abundant natural light into the home, creating a serene and airy atmosphere that belies the home’s limited footprint.
Rooted in human-centric design, Cuong’s House demonstrates how thoughtful architecture can turn spatial and financial constraints into opportunities—offering warmth, dignity, and meaning through simplicity.
