Cote Miami is the second restaurant developed under the Cote brand and uniquely celebrates the city’s raw electricity and vibrant nightlife. Building on the success of the New York City location, the Michelin-starred Miami outpost opened in 2021 and evolves the original restaurant’s design concepts, adapting them to the new locale. In a nod to the original, and an homage to Miami’s historical use of architectural neon, Cote Miami’s design pushes the use of illumination, shadow and color to greater extremes. The space is at once theatrical—glowing whites meet dark jewel tones, while gnarled textures meet glossy sheens—and curated, making every visitor feel like a VIP.
The entry hall, a singular space entered prior to the main restaurant, immerses diners in a wash of mono-frequency colored light. The thump of muffled subwoofers momentarily arrest the senses, granting diners a respite from the bustling Design District before entering the high-energy dining room. Designed elements of the New York City location are modified for the space, yet remain familiar to the original.
