When Grupo Azrak decided to move their showroom and offices from Colon's Free Zone to Panama City, they called BT Arquitectos to do the job. We had made a proposal several years ago to renovate their showroom in Colon but the project never came through. We had done a lot of showrooms in Colon’s Free Zone in the last 5 years with great results, making us the best option available. The client’s main business is the import and export of licensed and self-made brands such as Jordache, Oleg Cassini, GSL and Mahi Mahi among others, with more brands on the way. They didn’t really have a brand image. It is a company that started with their grandfather and now the grandsons are managing the company, all of them younger than 38 years old. They were focused on working the brands and growing the company, and not necessarily on the company’s image. With this new office, all of that was fixed. The office has between 40-50 employees. The clients’ requests were simple, they basically listed the spaces they needed and the number of people they needed to fit. It had to be a nice place to work at and a nice place to visit as a client. They used to be in Colon’s Free Zone and their office there grew without planning.
