The Akasha Wellbeing Centre, a 1000m2 wellness project, in Amsterdam is part of the 5* city center modern luxury hotel in a monumental landmark in the centre of Amsterdam. The hotel is part of The Set hotel group like Cafe Royal in London.

Like the hotel, Akasha has been designed in collaboration with Piero Lissoni architects. Vital Feng Shui prinicples have been incorporated, alongside Color Subconscious Theory and a combination of sights, lights, music and scents to create a particularly warm, joyful and relaxed atmospere.

Innovation:
For Saunas there is a design trend from architects 4SeasonsSpa works with towards darker saunas. The Italian architect Piero Lissoni also designed a modern dark sauna for the Conservatorium Hotel. Therefore a unique natural wood treatment has been developed to create this special dark natural effect.
