Functional organization:
The homogeneity of the building facilitates organization and functional connections. The fluidity of its form leads
the emergence of a closed volume on the West side and a covered volume on the East side.
The main entrance, located to the South, opens into a foyer which serves, on the Ground Floor, the offices and
upstairs, the refectory via a staircase. To the West, along the exterior circular corridor, 2 private doors open
in changing rooms for men and women firefighters with direct access to the garage for high vehicles. In the North,
from the trailer depot, a service door leads to a hall equipped with an elevator and a staircase which
liaise with the technical rooms in the basement and the kitchen, the commissary, the team room and the refectory
from the floor. The latter is thus accessible from this service entrance and the main entrance. In case the room
would be rented to other organs of the Commune. This connection also connects the technical rooms to the basement.
