This house, designed by Sabrab in Comporta, features a modern architecture deeply integrated with the surrounding nature. The design is minimalist and horizontal, with clean rectangular volumes and a strong use of light-toned concrete that harmonizes beautifully with the sandy landscape. Large glass surfaces create a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing abundant natural light to flood the interiors and offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding greenery.
The house is set on a sloping, sandy terrain typical of the Comporta region, and parts of it appear to "float" above the ground thanks to clever structural design. The lower floor features sliding glass doors and wooden slatted panels that provide both privacy and natural ventilation. On the upper floor, there’s a swimming pool finished with green mosaic tiles, surrounded by a spacious terrace ideal for leisure and relaxation. The natural vegetation has been carefully preserved, respecting the wild and authentic spirit of Comporta.
