The project has won the First Place Award on the competition.
The site meant for design is located on the area of intersection of two urban axis systems. One of them is perpendicular to Volokolamskoe Highway, the other is perpendicular to the Skhodnya river. This condition exerted an influence on the architectural composition of the hotel complex. The hotel blocks are situated right along these axis. Moreover, their location relative to each other is made in the way that allows to have view on the Moskva and Skhodnya rivers water area from each room.
The block meant for the long term guests has drop number of storeys and is situated in the most quiet part of the territory along landscaped embankment. The block meant for the short term guests is located closer to the street and has direct connection with the business zone.
The inner сourt is arranged between the blocks on the stylobate roofing. The guests may pass from the court to the gallery – lobby that connects residential blocks with the restaurant, multifunctional hall, business center and the cafe. The reception lobby is located on the 1st floor for the arriving guests’ convenience. This solution makes easy the transport approach to the entrance and provides free entrance for disabled persons. It also helps to split the flows of the arriving and departing guests in order to provide more comfortable conditions for each group. The 1st floor entrance group is equipped with leisure areas, café and PC-café. Panoramic view on the Moskva river open from the restaurant windows. The restaurant is located on two levels: the upper one is used mainly by the hotel residents, the lower level has direct entrance from the street and can be used independently.
The area on the shield above the 2nd floor entrance is combined with the inner court and gives an opportunity to arrange the open-air café.
