The brief
of the competition for proposal of a Complex of Residential Building in
Miasteczko Śląskie (Poland)
required to design a complex of multi-family buildings that would house
underground car park as well as 3 other on-ground storeys dedicated to future
inhabitants.
The master
planning of the surroundings also as a subject of the competition was meant to
provide a sustainable solution for the nearby area. Therefore, the architects
proposed a division of the whole site area into separate sections that could
provide different functions.
The Housing
Area was designed as a group of  4
detached 3 storeys buildings. The authors also proposed the way of spatial
arrangement of the closest buildings’ surroundings which consist of inner road
leading to car park spaces. Moreover, the architects decide to designate
playground area where children could spend free time close to the their homes.
