Taking a prominant corner of The Arizona Center shopping mall in downtown Phoenix is an elevated concept that includes three different projects within the space. A steakhouse called Cleaverman, a cocktail lounge by the name of Filthy Martini, and an upscale prestige private dining experience named UpperCut. This entertainment trio includes all of the custom designed furnishings and finishes, experiential design elements throughout the space, and state of the art kitchen equipment that the Phoenix area has come to expect from Pretty Decent Concepts.

The project took over a previous restaurant tenant that had been sitting vacant for years, expanded into an additional 2 adjacent suites, and knocked out an exterior wall to expand the dining room out closer to the street.

To get this level of custom design, we had to take very meticulous records of the existing conditions to evaluate the space and ensure every element would fit and function as needed. We used state of the art laser scanning technology, point cloud modeling, and 3D digital working drawings to coordinate every aspect of the project. We worked closely with the interior designer, contractor, and ownership team over the course of 2 years to ensure that the end result met the design intent.
