Project description:
Planning and interior design of an apartment from a contractor. A retired couple purchased a new apartment on the seventh floor of the Agamim Residential project. Facing West, they enjoy a sea view apartment overlooking a nature reserve and a small lake.
The couple asked to turn this 5 bedroom apartment into a 4 bedroom home: large living room, spacious master bedroom, guestroom and a study. Additionally it was important for the couple to incorporate the furniture collected over the years in the new apartment.
While planning the broadening of the living room, we canceled the bedroom wall which sat next to the old living room, and by lowering a plaster ceiling, created an intimate sitting room incorporated with the open living room space.
Moving the sitting room enabled us to place a large dining table and reveal the sea view throughout the apartment.
The new kitchen was carefully planned and equipped with a kitchen island to be used as a table for everyday meals and as a work surface and additional storage space for the kitchen.
In addition to planning and designing, the project included accompanying the couple to the different suppliers, to select products and various materials, producing a set of plans for the changes to be made by the contractor, supervision and response to the construction team in adherence with the construction plan.
