The China Huaneng Headquarters Project is located in the Headquarters Zone of the Start Area of Xiong'an New Area, adjacent to the vital east-west axis. It covers four plots in the north-south direction, with a planned land area of approximately 80 mu and a total floor area of about 320,000 square meters.
The project plans to construct office buildings, conference facilities, a technology exchange center, a management center, a corporate exhibition center, supporting services and ancillary facilities. The preliminary estimated construction and installation investment is about 5.43 billion yuan, and the height of the tallest building is controlled at 130 meters. The full-process design of the project is undertaken by China Architecture Design & Research Group Co., Ltd., with gmp Architekten (Germany) as the conceptual design partner for joint conceptual scheme design.
To implement the "dual-carbon" development strategy in the construction industry and uphold the development concepts of green and low-carbon development, harmonious coexistence, adaptation to local conditions, and overall coordination, the project follows the Group's Green Building Design Guidelines in its design. Based on a forward-looking green integrated design system, the project aims to build a new demonstration cluster of green buildings from a multi-dimensional green and low-carbon perspective.
Upon completion, the park will achieve a renewable energy utilization rate of approximately 24.3%, a reduction in building energy consumption of about 43%, a reduction in total carbon emissions of around 57% compared with conventional buildings, and a life-cycle carbon reduction of about 1 million tons. All buildings will achieve the national Three-Star Green Building certification and LEED Gold certification, as well as the national Three-Star Healthy Building certification and WELL Gold certification.
The project strives to become a green and low-carbon design demonstration adapted to the climatic characteristics of Xiong'an New Area, and to shape a regional architectural model with distinctive local features of Xiong'an in terms of regional style, green low-carbon development, green energy application, and intelligent sharing.
