This fire and rescue center is located along the main access road that leads to the city. It is situated alongside an existing hedgerow, preserving the character of the landscape.
The general organization meets the first operation needs of an intervention center built around an open space. The first volume houses the administration. Focused on plant space, the design plays with the slope of the land to fit into the landscape, providing users with wide views of nature.
The building is connected by its roof to the driveway and marks the entrance while still maintaining a distance. Two volumes, fully-designed steel structures, are treated in the same manner, with a metallic cladding. Between blue and gray, they change depending on the light and viewing angle. The overhanging roofs, facade withdrawals, and height differences highlight a sleek overall volume, unifying the two volumes.
Responding to the RT2005, the construction incorporates solar DHW production, the EP recovery for washing, and can also extend to the needs of the contracting authority.
