There is no shortage of beautiful architecture in the coastal town of Las Catalinas, nor a lack of delightfully unexpected moments as you walk the narrow streets. But despite that high caliber of design, Casa Rosita still stands out from the crowd. It’s bright, playful, and a bit off-balance in all the best ways - a traditional mentality, with a penchant for mischief. The street-level guest unit enjoys its own corner entry from Calle Virginia, helping to lift the shaded pool terrace above neighboring rooflines and present breathtaking views of the Pacific. Hand-carved wood brackets offer protection from the mid-day sun, while the off-center front door serves as a preview of the lively patterns and colorful details within. Casa Rosita represents our first collaboration with Diana Blanco - a talented local interior designer - but we already know it won’t be our last.
