The architect's house. Of a clear geometry and a trend to abstraction, this house is solved with a clean volume seemingly suspended over a concrete volumen of big dimenssions. A discreet facade to the street, with a high window separating the two volumes, allows sun light to the interior without compromising privacy and preserving the view to the sky and the treetops. The house is lived very openly to the interior, the space that conforms the livingroom and the dining room becomes one with the semi-covered terrace in the first level. The kitchen gains light opening up plainly to the back garden. The third level takes advantage of the views to the volcanoes and creates an open terrace in what commonly would be a normal roof. The house unfolds while walking it, by the absence of ordinary elements to talk about what happens inside and by the honest use of materials such as concrete, glass and wood that speak their own language. Small terraces and courtyards are a constant in the project.
