Tubes accumulate to form the pedestals, while shaping circulation, places of gathering, and storage areas. Each cluster houses the workof one group of artists while the circulation is continuous and open, creating loops without dead ends. The tubes are capped with translucentPlexiglas, creating displays for the objects which are then lit from below with LED lights. The presence of the tubes draws peopleinto the space. One inside, its repetitious nature turns their focuses on the displayed objects. Using 1000 tubes, 8” in diameter, the entire1000sq.ft. space was captured by using mostly paper and air.
